The estate’s 2010 Barbera d’Asti Superiore Tre Roveri emerges from the glass with dark cherries, menthol, plums, tobacco, incense and spices. The partial use of French oak gives the wine some of its volume, but at the same time masks some of the purity of fruit that is present in some of the other Barbere in this lineup.   WS 90
